Hanne Howard and Ted Horton spend up to 6 months each year in Nairobi to ensure the proper and transparent management of donated funds. Any of their expenses which are paid by HHF are covered by Hanne’s and Ted’s personal cash donations to HHF.
Financial Statements
HHF became a Canadian registered charitable organization in July 2008 and as such, is allowed to issue tax receipts to Canadian donors. Our fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th. HHF’s financial statements are audited by Van Berkom & Ritz Chartered Accountants. We will provide audited financial statements upon request.

HHF’s charitable registration number is 85558 1195 RR0001.

Hannehowardfund/Lenana is the Kenyan registered, community based organization that we established in 2007 to carry out the programs that we fund and administer for the benefit of the children in our project in Lenana.
