In Lenana, children as young as two years of age are roaming aimlessly in the slum with little guidance or supervision.
To address this problem, the HHF created the Tiny Tots Early Childhood Center in March 2008 giving our toddlers the head start they need. There are approximately eighteen children between the ages of two to six enrolled in this program.
The progress has been immense and the Tiny Tots are flourishing. Our teachers are very loving and dedicated slum volunteers who also belong to our Vocational Program and are pursuing their teaching degrees.
